AUGUST 2010 UPDATE
Below you can see some of the images from our latest stocking, consisting of 70 fish between 10lb 12oz to 18lb 2oz, which went into Lawton on the 28th July 2010. The fish were a lovely mix of long commons and mirrors, both lightly and heavily scaled. This stocking takes the number of fish to approximately 90.

The new fish are between 3-4 years old, and at least ten of these should reach 20lb by the end of the year, the rest by 2011. Our aim is to have no fish under 20lb by 2012. We have finally got the weed problem under control with applications of hydrated lime and triple phosphate, which will only go toward improving the fishing for the future.

JANUARY 2010 UPDATE
The lake has fished extremely well for carp during 2009 with all the largest specimens making the bank on several occasions, and coarse fishing for specimen bream and tench has proved just as productive.

A pike fishing winter syndicate is also now in place, limited to ten members fishing 2 rods between 1st October and 31st March, at £100.00 per year. Interested parties should contact us for further information.

DECEMBER 2008 UPDATE
Welcome to the December update. The main piece of news is obviously that the new Lawton Hall syndicate website is now up and running! Through this news section we will bring the latest information on captures and syndicate goings on. If you have any images or news you’d like us to feature on the site, please do get in touch.

The main news as far as the lake goes is the recent capture of Lawton’s largest inhabitant, affectionately known as ‘Big Orange’. The fish came out during the middle of November at a new record weight of 38lb 10oz.

The new Lawton Hall syndicate will begin in March 2009; running from March to March at a cost of £300.00 per year. Please contact us for application details. Between now and March 2009 we are offering interested parties the chance to fish the lake on a day permit basis. However, these permits MUST be arranged and paid for in advance, again, please contact us for more details.
